and that ever-present scoreboard? Are you ready?! It's a new year and a new opportunity full of new
possibilities. We said it once before: believe that we will rise again -- just believe it. So ready or not---IT'S
TIME TO PLAY SOME FOOTBALL!

It's also time for the 14th Annual National Raffle benefitting the Athletic Program at Prairie View A&M
University. The funding meter is still rising and now sits at over $100,000. You made that happen. Everyday
heroes such as yourself make a difference in the state of our athletic program each time you step up to the
plate. Your support helps make dreams come alive. Thanks.

Practice, practice, practice. What happens at Homecoming halftime on October 29, 2005 (PV vs
Mississippi Valley State)? An announcement of raffle winners, that's what. It's now called "stack your
paper," but it's still money, money, money. The prizes are as follows:

Consider the possibilities that a $20 investment in a book of tickets could bring. You can either buy
or sell (your help would be appreciated) the raffle tickerts, but you must return all of the stubs for the
number of tickets bought WITH your check or money order for that dollar amount. Checks or
money orders must be made payable to: PV ATHLETIC CLUB. Additional tickets will be sent upon request
(936/857-5817). Don't forget to put y our name, address and telephone number (very important?) on the
stubs! (You need not be present to win!!)

Interested in who made it into the Winners Circle last year? The lucky Panther supporters were as follows:
1st place, $3,000--Mr. Jack Bellinger of Austin, Texas; 2nd place, $2,000--Mr. George Morrison of
Hyannis, Massachusetts; and 3rd place, $1,000--Ms. Kimberley Runnels of Dallas, Texas. If you wanna
